Sandy Neck Beach Park is comprised of front beach, sand dunes, historic dune shacks, maritime forests, freshwater wetland areas and salt marsh. All these areas can be explored and enjoyed via a network of trails. In addition, we offer a tenting area located 3.3 miles from the parking lot that provides a backcountry camping experience.
There is limited free parking for the nature trails.
Note: The Sandy Neck Lighthouse and Cottage Colony are located on private property and are not accessible by the trail network. For the best viewing of the lighthouse hike to the tip of Sandy Neck (13 miles round trip) and look west towards the cottage colony.
